Our Expertise 

Holly boasts over a decade of expertise as a Health Visitor and paediatric nurse within the NHS and council.

 

Her profound understanding of the nuances of parenthood is not only professional but also personal, having navigated the joys and chaos of raising her own children within a span of three years.

 

 Holly is a registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, specialising in the care of 0-5 year-olds. She is duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and her credentials include a comprehensive CRB check, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.

Holly holds credentials as a certified group fitness instructor, specialising in both pre and postpartum fitness. Additionally, she possesses a qualification in antenatal yoga, showcasing her expertise in supporting mothers during the prenatal phase.

In addition to our core services, we also offer mother and baby fitness classes and we conduct informative face to face baby workshops focused on essential topics such as CPR and weaning. These workshops are facilitated in collaboration with experienced baby play workers, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for parents and babies. Our commitment extends beyond routine health support to empower you with valuable knowledge and skills for your baby's well-being.

"I've been going to the Carry Cubs classes for over a month now and I would highly recommend them! Holly is amazing at what she does. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed, and the classes are always fun and comfortable for beginners. It can be difficult to do things for yourself as a mum, and this class definitely feels like some self care with our little ones coming along for the ride!

I also went to the Introduction to Solids workshop. There's so much information out there and it can get overwhelming but Holly shared evidence based guidance and made the process seem less daunting. The workshop was interactive and we even had a taste of some purees sold in shops!! Little Daisies had also set up sensory play for the little ones which was amazing."

"I joined Mamas & Cubs, carry cubs sessions when I was 10 weeks postpartum and was unsure what to expect but was greeted with very welcoming and knowledgeable Holly. During the sessions Holly ensures the classes are fun and interactive (especially the theme weeks).

What I particularly like about the sessions is it’s catered to all types of fitness levels and she describes and explains why we’re doing each exercises. For example, lunges to aid your pelvic floors.
